                            (1) Middle-Earth:Shadow of War    

Middle-Earth:Shadow of War has been announced, regardless of whether Warner Bros. was ready to or not, thanks to a leak earlier this week. The new title will feature another original story set in the same lore of the Middle-earth universe, where players will wield a new Ring of Power.

They’ll battle Sauron and his minions once again, and we’ll see an expanded Nemesis system this time around. According to WB, the environment will also be shaped by the way you play.
 What’s more, WB mentioned a new Followers system in the press release that could potentially be interesting. Either way, we can see Monolith blowing the gates wide open with this one, and if it’s done correctly, it could drastically improve upon the first Shadow of Mordor game. Here’s to hoping we get a bit more variation in the landscapes and a little less jank now that they’ve had time to perfect the game engine.

                                                  Elex

What is Elex? Well, it’s an upcoming open world, post-apocalyptic, sci-fi & fantasy-themed game from Piranha Bytes (who you might know from their Risen series). It’s set on Magalan, a planet that was just hit with a massive meteor that caused the planet to now be in ruins. Now, the planet is in turmoil, and those who survive have to battle to survive against various factions, all of which have their own ideas about what Magalan should be.

But that’s not all, of course. Inside the meteor that crashed into the planet lies an element named ELEX, a limited resource that can power machines, grant magical powers and create new life. In Elex, you’ll play the role of a man who uses ELEX as a drug of sorts to rid himself of emotion so that he can make decisions based on logic alone. You’ll follow him as he begins having withdrawal symptoms, and as he experiences his emotions for the first time ever.

The game is set to release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC at on October 17, 2017

                            Assassin’s Creed: Origins

Assassin’s Creed: Origins will bring the series to Egpyt, adding in some RPG elements and some new gameplay mechanics (one of which is similar to Mark of Kri‘s eagle mechanic). The game will release in October 2017, and hopefully, it’ll release without any performance hiccups.

                              Darksiders 3

After fearing the game would never be made due to THQ’s yard sale a few years ago, we had all lost hope regarding the future of the Darksiders franchise. However, it has recently been confirmed that Darksiders 3 is in development by Gunfire Games (they were the ones who developed the Deathinitive Edition of Darksiders 2.
We already have a fair amount of details regarding the new Darksiders game, including the fact that it will actually star a female protagonist named Fury (who looks rather badass, we might add). She uses a cool-looking whip to slay those who stand before, and we can’t wait to find out what her journey will hold. Here’s to hoping it runs at a full 60fps. We only have a cinematic debut trailerfor now, but stay tuned for some gameplay
